D.D. Trading (FZE) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you interact with our website or engage with us as a customer, applicant or supplier, how we use that information, and the choices and rights available to you.
This document is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. D.D. Trading (FZE) recommends that customers and counterparties review their own contractual arrangements with qualified counsel.
  1. 01.Data Controller

The data controller is D.D. Trading (FZE), Saif Office Q1-08-086/A, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (Trade Licence No. 22756; VAT 104054588900003). You can contact us at any time at d.d.trading.fze@gmail.com or +971 58 597 2217.

  2. 02.Information We Collect

We collect information you provide to us directly, including:

    • Contact and sourcing requests: name, company, email, phone number, country, and the contents of your message.
    • Account applications: business name, trade licence details, VAT registration, address, primary contact, product interests and expected order volumes.
    • Order and payment information: shipping details, banking references (for incoming wires), invoice history and correspondence.
    • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed and timestamps, collected through standard server logs.

We do not knowingly collect any "special categories" of personal data, and our services are not directed at children.

  3. 03.How We Use Information

    • To respond to enquiries and prepare quotations.
    • To verify the legitimacy of business applicants and approve trade accounts.
    • To process and fulfil orders, including invoicing, shipping and after-sales support.
    • To comply with UAE accounting, tax, anti-money-laundering and export-control obligations.
    • To maintain security, prevent fraud and protect our legal interests.
    • To improve the performance and content of our website.
  4. 04.Legal Bases

We process personal data where it is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, to perform a contract with you or your organisation, to comply with our legal obligations, or to pursue our legitimate interests as a business (such as preventing fraud and managing customer relationships). Where required, we rely on your consent.

  5. 05.Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. We share data only as necessary with:

    • Banks and payment intermediaries to receive and reconcile payments.
    • Logistics providers, freight forwarders, customs brokers and insurers to deliver goods.
    • Professional advisors (accountants, auditors, lawyers) under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
    • Government authorities and regulators where required by law, including for tax, customs or sanctions compliance.
    • IT and infrastructure providers (hosting, email, analytics) acting under our instructions.
  6. 06.International Transfers

Because we trade internationally, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the UAE, including jurisdictions whose data-protection laws differ from those of your country. Where we transfer data, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

  7. 07.Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy and to comply with our legal obligations. Records relating to transactions, invoicing and tax are retained for at least the minimum period required under UAE law (typically five years from the end of the relevant financial year). Enquiry data that does not result in a transaction is generally deleted within twenty-four months.

  8. 08.Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures — including access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS), limited administrative privileges and secure hosting — to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No system, however, is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  9. 09.Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to request correction or deletion, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at d.d.trading.fze@gmail.com.

We will respond within a reasonable period and may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.

  10. 10.Cookies & Analytics

Our website uses a minimal number of cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to operate the site and to understand basic, aggregated usage. We do not use advertising cookies or sell behavioural data. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features.

  11. 11.Third-Party Links

Our website may link to third-party sites (such as manufacturers' or banks' pages) that operate independently. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites and recommend reviewing their privacy policies.

  12. 12.Children's Privacy

Our services are addressed exclusively to businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from any individual under the age of eighteen. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

  13. 13.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the latest revision took effect.

  14. 14.Contact
